For information about the Ebola Virus, please visit the Jackson County Health Department's website at www.jchdonline.com.  On the left hand side of their home page is a section called Ebola Educational Resources from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Website.

Our funeral home's policy should death occur from Ebola Virus, adopted October 14, 2014.

Our funeral home has only adopted the following aspects of the CDC's guidelines from the "Interim Guidance for Environmental Infection Control in Hospitals for the Ebola Virus”

• Do not open the body bags.

• Do not remove remains from the body bags.

Disposition of Remains

• Remains should be cremated.
