Obituary for Wayne D. Reiman
Wayne Dean Reiman, 88, of Murphysboro, passed away at 6:06 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at his residence in Murphysboro.
Wayne was born on January 3, 1927, in Jackson County, Illinois, to Noah David Reiman and Ruby (Zimmerman) Reiman.
He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
Wayne had retired as a manager with Ferrell Gas Company after working thirty nine years.
Mr. Reiman was a very active member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro and served as a trustee of the church.
He married Ellen Heiple on July 24, 1946, at the parsonage of the Elm Street Baptist Church, and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter Katherine Beck of Centralia;
two grandchildren Rev. Ryan Beck and his wife Christi Beck of Carrier Mills and Tiffany Pruett and her husband Rev. Clayton Pruett of Wentzville, MO;
four great grandchildren Natalie Beck and Jeremiah Beck, both of Carrier Mills, and Chloe Pruett and Vance Pruett both of Wentzville, MO;
two brothers Don Reiman and his wife Bertie Reiman and Teddy Joe Reiman and his wife Loretta Reiman, all of Murphysboro and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son Dale Reiman, four brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Allen officiating and burial at Murdale Gardens of Memory.
