Obituary for Clifton Earl Decker
Clifton Earl Decker, 47, formerly of Murphysboro, passed away at 3:22 pm Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
Clifton was born on March 14, 1969, in Murphysboro to Billy E. Decker and Henrietta (Mason) Shaffer.
He was a carpenter.
Mr. Decker had attended Abundant Life Fellowship in Murphysboro.
Clifton is survived by one son Daniel Earl Decker of Marion;
his mother Henrietta Shaffer of Christopher; his father Bill Decker of Cuba, IL;
three brothers Shane Decker and his wife Danelle Decker of Dix, IL, Martin Decker and Jamie Wright of Cuba, IL, and Waylon Deck of Cuba, IL;
several nieces and nephews and lots of cousins, aunts and uncles.
His body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Monday, March 28, 2016, at the Abundant Life Fellowship with Rev. James Easton officiating.
