Obituary for Amanda L. Crane
Amanda L. Crane, 44, of Murphysboro, passed away at 12:04 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Amanda was born on September 5, 1971, in Murphysboro, to Roy Crane and Juliann (Caton) Crane.
She was a housewife.
Every Halloween, she would volunteer and dress up at Chittyville, near Herrin.
Amanda is survived by three children Christina Edie and her husband Andrew Edie of DuQuoin, Joshua Hunt of Elkville, and Elizabeth Francis of Carterville;
one grandson Austin Edie of DuQuoin;
her parents Roy and Juliann Crane of Murphysboro;
one brother Brian Crane of Elkville; and three nieces Ashton, Skylar and Makenna Crane.
Her body will be cremated and a gravesite service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Parrish Cemetery in Vergennes. Memorials may be made to the family. For more information, please visit http://www.pettettfuneralhome.com.
