Norine B. Rose (Brouillette)
Norine B. Rose, 95, of Pinckneyville and formerly of Murphysboro, passed away at 5:50 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2016, at the Manor Court of Carbondale.
Norine was born on September 23, 1920, in Landis, Saskatchewan, Canada, to William Brouillette and Mildred (Williamson) Brouillette.
She had worked as a licensed practical nurse at nursing homes in Murphysboro and Carbondale.
Mrs. Rose was a member of the Rosedale Baptist Church in Pinckneyville.
Norine married Orval Oliver Rose on August 11, 1939, in Paducah, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1992.
Survivors include five children Rebecca Bryant of Makanda, Elizabeth Richmond of Piedmont, MO, Janet Layne of Murphysboro, Mary Johnson of Metropolis, and William Rose of Carbondale;
twelve grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Mildred Klankey, three brothers, one sister and her parents.
Her body has been cremated and there will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016, at the Lions Pavilion at the Riverside Park in Murphysboro with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. For more information, please visit www.pettettfuneralhome.com.
