Pauline Bee Hooker (Brown)
Pauline Bee Hooker, 87, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, stepped into Paradise to meet Jesus on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
Pauline was born on June 19, 1929, to Roy and Gertie (Province) Brown.
Mrs. Hooker was Pentecostal by faith and faithfully read her bible.
Pauline was a devout Christian and lived a life of sound faith. She shared a great love for her family. She was a homemaker and left a huge legacy behind. The main lesson she taught was faith and love.
She married Oshell Dean Hooker on November 19, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2002.
She leaves behind seven precious children Linda Darlene Hicks of DeSoto, Mary Louise (Hooker) Cook and her husband Raymond Cook, Danny Oshell Hooker and his wife Amy Hooker, and Donna Marie Staszak, all of Murphysboro, Phyllis Jean Blumenstock and her husband David Blumenstock of DeSoto, Larry Dean Hooker of Murphysboro, and Paula Ann Bodkin, Statesboro, GA;
one step son Bob Hooker and his wife Marylin Hooker of Champaign;
Pauline had nineteen grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren that she dearly loved.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, five sisters, two brothers, and parents.
She will be greatly missed and was dearly loved by her family.
