Sandra Kay Cantrell (Clover)
Sandra Kay Cantrell, 60, of Murphysboro, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
Sandra was born on September 10, 1956, in Carbondale, to Paul Clover and Beulah Mae (Ozburn) Clover.
She was a housewife, but she was also "jack of all trades". She could crochet, upholster, garden, and anything else that she set her mind to do.
Mrs. Cantrell was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Carbondale.
Sandra married Larry Cantrell on April 6, 1996, in Murphysboro, and he survives.
Other survivors include five children Tina Wyatt of Freeman Spur, IL, Larry Cantrell of Benton, Bobby Dobbs and April Rollinson, both of Marion, and Nikki Dobbs of Gorham;
eleven grandchildren Obadiah Wyatt, Nevin Wyatt, Zander Wyatt, Paris Cantrell, Piper Cantrell, Tyler Teal, Landen Dobbs, Kyle Rollinson, Aiden Gibson, Allison Gregory, and Kyleigh Dobbs;
one great grandchild on the way;
one brother Gary Clover of Murphysboro;
and five sisters Barbara Carruthers, Dee Johnson, Carol Johnson, and Shirley Fletcher, all of Murphysboro, and Cindy Johnson of DeSoto.
She was preceded in death by one son Michael Wayne Dobbs, two brothers, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Pettett Funeral Home and burial will be at Murdale Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. For more information, please visit www.pettettfuneralhome.com.
