Karen Sue  Spradling (Casey)
Karen Sue Spradling, 74, of Murphysboro, passed away at 8:34 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Karen was born on March 14, 1943, in Gorham, Illinois to Carson Casey and Carrie (Neace) Casey.

Mrs. Spradling was a member of the First Christian Church in Murphysboro.

She married Kenneth Spradling on May 1, 1964, in Grimsby, Illinois and he survives.

Other survivors include three children Larry Duane Spradling and his wife Mary Spradling of Oklahoma City, OK, Paula Denise Spradling and Patricia Darlene "Tricia" Roberts and her husband Dale Roberts, both of Murphysboro;

ten grandchildren and two grand dogs;

and seventeen great grandchildren and two on the way.

She was preceded in death by one daughter Kendra Dawn Spradling, one brother, four sisters, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rick Sutton officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
