Obituary for Chris Allen Brindley
Chris Allen Brindley, 58, of Ava, passed away at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
Chris was born on March 27, 1959, in Paducah, Kentucky, to Charles Brindley and Opal (Hony) Brindley.
He had served in the U.S. Air Force.
Chris had worked as a computer engineer.
Mr. Brindley was a member of Murdale Baptist Church in Carbondale.
Chris married Mary Varnum on July 1, 1984, in Carbondale, and she survives.
Other survivors include four children April Leon of Waukegan, Illinois, Brittany Brindley of Ava, Charles Brindley of DeKalb, and Scotland Brindley of Ava;
four grandchildren Isabella Leon, Cash Leon, Gabriella Brindley, and June Leon;
and three brothers Bob Brindley of Florida, Don Brindley of Paducah, KY, and Chucky Brindley of Ullin, IL.
He was preceded in death by one sister and his parents.
His body will be cremated. Memorials may be made to the family.
