Billy L. Craig, 66, of Murphysboro, passed away at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at his residence in Murphysboro, Illinois.
Billy was born on June 7, 1951, in Herrin, Illinois, to Orville Kenneth Craig and Ruby (Cain) Craig.
He had worked as a maintenance electrician at BICC Cable in DuQuoin, Illinois. He liked to hunt and watch Cardinal Baseball games.
Billy married Ann (Florence) on May 18, 1993, in Paducah, Kentucky, and she survives.
Other survivors include two daughters Lisa (Nick) Aponte of Mt. Prospect, IL and Holly (Jeff) Collins, Raleigh, NC;
three step daughters Connie (James) Darnell of Arnold, TN, Donna (Gary) Schwent of Elkville, and Sheila Young of DuQuoin;
one step son Fred (Kat) Murray of Elkville;
ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren;
one sister Linda Summers of Seattle, WA.
He was preceded in death by one sister and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Pettett Funeral Home and burial at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
