Obituary for Juanita M. Rogers (Varnum)
Juanita M. Rogers, 85, of Creal Springs, passed away at 10:58 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois
Juanita was born on July 17, 1932 in Mounds, Illinois to Frank Varnum and Ethel (Menees) Varnum.
She had worked as a waitress and a housekeeper.
Juanita married Raymond Rogers on May 30, 1949, in Murphysboro, and he preceded her in death in April of 1987.
She is survived by four children Gary Rogers of Creal Springs, Patricia Szubka of Riverside, FL, Shelia Turhlar of New Lenox, IL, and Terry Rogers, of Branson, MO;
19 grandchildren, forty three great grandchildren, and three great great granchildren;
and one brother Victor Varnum of Murphysboro.
She was preceded in death by one brother Frank Varnum and her parents.
As per her wishes, her body will be cremated.
