Joshua Paige Fingerhut, 33, of Memphis, passed away Friday, February 22, 2013. A lifetime resident of the Memphis area, he was born on Saturday, February 9, 1980. He was a 1998 graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and received an associate’s degree from Cayuga Community College and his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Fredonia.

Joshua was a member of the Actors' Equity Assoc. and currently worked with the Rochester Lyric Opera. He previously performed with the Syracuse Opera, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn and the Diamond Circle Theatre in Colorado. He enjoyed trains, Civil War history and nature.

Surviving are his life partner, Lauren Noyes of Oregon; parents, Chuck and Kathy (Jaton) Fingerhut of Memphis; uncle, Timothy Jaton of Memphis; aunt, Linda (Ed) Curtis of North Syracuse; and cousins, Ashley (Brian) Murray of Rochester, Ed (Sherry) Curtis of Endwell, and Charlie (Carol) Curtis of Syracuse.

Services will be private. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus.
