Obituary for Crystal Marie Barone
Crystal Marie Barone, 45, of Belleville and formerly of Murphysboro area, passed away at 5:32 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.
Crystal was born on March 28, 1972, in Murphysboro, to David J. Barone and Debby K. Crowell.
She was a graduate of the Carbondale Community High School Class of 1990. She studied to be a Registered Nurse at John A. Logan in the class of 1992 and continued studying nursing in the U.S. Army. She studied Psychology at SIU at Carbondale. She was a highly certified nurse, who taught dialysis, and had studied at one time to be a Physician's Assistant. From 2013 to the present, she was a Registered Nurse at Davita Acute Dialysis in Belleville, Illinois.
Crystal loved her kids and grandson dearly.
She is survived by two children Selena Barone of Belleville and Chase Coffel of SC;
one grandson Keondre Kingsley;
her mother Debby Crowell of Carbondale; her father David Barone of Murphysboro;
one brother Joe Barone and one half brother Tim Barone both of Carbondale;
and her paternal grandmother Doris Camden of Coulterville.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Myles Earl Crowell, Jr., Norma Crowell, and Joe Barone.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Pettett Funeral Home with Ken Peterein officiating and burial will be at Alto Pass Cemetery.
