Harry E. Homan
Harry E. Homan, 73, of Murphysboro, passed away at his residence at 11:34 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2017.
Harry was born on August 20, 1944, in Murphysboro, to Harry Homan and Florence (Brunkhorst) Homan.
Mr. Homan served in the U.S. Army.
He had retired from the Lustour Corp. in Murphysboro.
Harry was a member of the Carbon Lake Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting and shooting matches, fishing, and coin collecting.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law Lisa and Rodney Musielak of Pinckneyville;
two granddaughters and their husbands Nichole and Scott Martie of Pinckneyville and Becka and Christopher Brammeier
and one great granddaughter little Katherine Brammeier on the way;
his mother Florence Homan of Murphysboro;
one sister and brother in law Sandy and Dean Clark of Robinson, IL;
one nephew and his wife Justin and Justine Clark of Marshall, IL and one niece and her husband Jennifer and Andrew Hargrave of Palestine, IL;
six great nieces and two great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Mary Jane Homan.
His body will be cremated and private family gravesite services will be held at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park at a later date. The family would appreciate memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758516
