I met Mary when I went to EDC in July of 2006. I ended up living there in the independent living program that she was in charge of. I got to know her there. She was very nice to me and we always talked about different issues that interested both of us. I got to be her friend. I saw her over the years at Kroger in Carbondale where I've worked since October of 2008. Last I saw her was a few months ago. She was in a wheelchair and was very pale. I was shocked to see her like this. My prayers go out to all the family and friends of Mary Rogers.
